College of Engineering students of NUST bagged first price in the prestigious ASYAD Logistics Research Competition.On 24th February, German University of Science and Technology hosted an event for Logistic Research Competition by ASYAD group where 30 teams participated with their innovative solutions for logistics sector. Several companies including Areej Vegetable Oils and Derivatives, Oman Logistics Centre and Muscat Statistics Consultancy were the prominent partners.
First place winner for ASYAD Logistics Research Competition where a team of Mechatronics students from College of Engineering NU: Ahmed Al Ghadani, Maisa Al Balushi, Rocky Das and Waleeja Mateen won cash prize of 1000 Omani Riyals for their project entitle “Application of Neural Networks Empowered Robots for Material Handling” under the supervision of Mr D. Ragavesh.
There were total four teams from College of Engineering, NU were participating and performed very well during the exhibition. The students are very grateful for all the support from CoE staff and would like to thank ASYAD for this great opportunity to showcase our projects
