College of Engineering at National University of Science and Technology hosted BEST PROJECT COMPETITION for its final year Engineering Students.
Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, Department
of Electrical & Communication Engineering and Department of Civil and
Environmental Engineering of College of Engineering, National University
Jointly organized BEST PROJECT COMPETITION – on
24th DEC 2019 at CRI Building Lobby, Al Hail Campus for its programme
students. This intradepartmental competition was held to
choose the best level 4 technical project of the winter semester
in each of the department’s UG programmes. The main aim of the
competition was to encourage college of Engineering students to take up
the innovative, challenging projects and to instil the sense
of competition. This event was envisaged to enable students to showcase their technical skill
in an open forum to prove their competencies and presentation ability. This
also paves a way for the students to build confidence in their practical work
and motivates them to become entrepreneurs. The competition witnessed
21 participants from MIE Department 31 from the ECE Department and 9 from the CEE Department to exhibit their
graduation projects.
Prof. Dr Ahmed Hassan Al Bulushi, Dean of College of Engineering,
National University, Mr Ali Abdullah Al Mahruqi, Head of ECE Department, Prof.
C.V.Sudhir, Head of MIE Department, Dr Hafez Al Sadeq Head of CEE Department of
College of Engineering, National University congratulated each and every
participants for their innovative project work and appreciated their
sincere efforts. Dean has advised the participants that it is required to take
their projects into the next level for commercialization with passion. At the
end of this competition, Dean distributed the Best project award
to the winning Students and certificates distributed by the Heads of the respective
department. College takes this opportunity to congratulate all the participants
and winners for their efforts
